ONEbox.mini is a highly integrated version of a HiFi speaker. Unlike the conventional bulky design, we put all the elements into an all-in-one firmware stored in a single chip. We put all the high end audio elements into this compact console. With 240W output, ONEbox.mini performs unbelievably big sound, just like a bookshelf HiFi speaker.

Wide frequency response

ONEbox.mini has wide frequency response with low bass down to 55Hz on mini size speaker and has up-sampler extending high frequency response to 36KHz. With wide frequency response, ONEbox.mini can play jazz and classical music very well.

Transparent vocal sound by active crossover filter

By active crossover filter, woofer and tweeter of every speaker are perfectly in-phase. ONEbox.mini is able to give you an excellent clarity in mid-range sound so that you can hear a transparent and full-bodied vocal.

Clean and pure sound by full digital design

ONEbox.mini is a revolutionary design. From input to output, the whole signal path is fully digital, resulting in no noise pick up and no analogue component distortion. This gives you a clean and pure sound.

The most natural sound by minimum signal processing

We use the fundamental principle of sound engineering to design ONEbox.mini. The simpler, the better. We insists in the minimum signal processing in order to give you the most natural sound. As our audio design is completely different from conventional speaker, we don't need equalizer to configure the sound. Equalizer will destroy the sound quality.

Higher wireless data rate, better surround sound quality
Without the main speaker wireless function, data rate can be fully utilized for surround side speaker. Center speaker has double data rate, and the rear speaker has 50% more data rate. You will enjoy a better and more real surround sound effect.

New design concept

The whole signal path is fully digital. We are using 3 DSP, bi-amp, bi-wire in our speaker design. We can fully control every parameter to give adaptive sound profiles to different sound sources. It can even extended to form a wireless surround.

Why Bi-amp + Bi wire?

Technically, what are the benefits of using Bi-amp + Bi-wires :

No passive crossover filter : no distortion, no power lost, no degrade damping control
Use high precision linear phase DSP filter, woofer and tweeter are perfectly in phase, clear and clean mid-frequency which is the most sensitive in our ears
Separate speaker cable for high frequency and low frequency to eliminate the cable skin effect
No component aging and tolerance in passive crossover filter
Independent control of woofer and tweeter sound parameters, ingredient of forming different sound characters

Driving a wired speaker is one-to-one : one amplifier, one cable, one speaker connection. Music sound is a mix of bass and treble. Bass sound is played on woofer demand for a high current amplifier. Treble sound is played on tweeter demand for a fast response and low distortion amplifier. However, a single amplifier (except very expensive unit) can’t achieve high current driving and fast response with low distortion at the same time. In order to strike a balance between these two requirements, manufacture usually uses a mid-power amplifier. Imagine you are driving a SUV to carry goods since SUV is able to give you a certain power and certain speed.

In ONEbox.mini, we use 2 amplifiers and 2 pairs of speaker cable for each channel to drive woofer and tweeter. Low frequency amplifier is designed for high current driving; high frequency amplifier is designed for fast response and low distortion. Two kinds of amplifiers are dedicated to the woofer and tweeter which is a perfect audio configuration. Here’s the advantage of using bi-amplifiers: Imaging you are driving a racing car at a high speed as you don’t need to carry any goods, while you are driving a truck to carry heavy goods as you don’t need a high speed. Keeping 2 vehicles is expensive, so you can't find this configuration in the past, until now.

The best combination of wired and wireless

We have technique to build full wireless set. However, we know full wireless is not the best combination.ONEbox.mini can be extended to a 5.1 set which combines wired and wireless speaker :

Main speaker - always standby for everyday use, by wired connection
Side speaker - easy to tidy up which gives maximum flexibility, by wireless connection
Subwoofer - easy placement and support paralleling, by wireless connection

Side speaker is wireless, you can use them in your garden when you have a friend party, music sound can cover indoor and outdoor. Side speaker can be detached from ONEbox.mini, and connect to your smartphone by USB dongle, then you can take them to camp site. Or, you can split the wireless speaker to form another set of speaker use in your bedroom.

Comprehensive connectivity - truly multi-functional

Nowadays, many speakers are claimed to be “multi-functional”, but actually they are not. They are designed for particular core function and work poorly with their side functions due to their limitation. That’s why you will neither use your Bluetooth speaker as TV speaker nor use your sound bar as your music speaker. If you want high sound quality in every occasion, you have no choice but to buy different audio products for different applications. We want to break this rule.
