We make the world different
TRUE wirless, TRUE stereo
We are the world’s first to develop a TRUE wireless 5.1 surround with no power cord and speaker cable. We believe the wireless speaker is the future of the audio world. No more messy cables. Wireless speaker even eliminates the cable distortion. The less interconnection, the better the sound is.
ONEaudio DECT speakers are truly wireless and stereo.
True stereo speaker pair gives accurate sound stage and clear sound imaging which is the key of musicality. In fact, it’s a challenging work to achieve true stereo in wireless speaker.
In order to reproduce true stereo, the below three critical criteria must be fulfilled:
-
Left and right channel must be synchronized
Two channels must play exactly the same time. Left and right channel time error is less than 1uS . -
Left and right channel must be identical
Two channels must have exactly the same configuration and same signal path; otherwise the sound will become unbalance. -
Left and right channel must be isolated, no acoustic and eletrical crosstalk
Two channels must be totally separated. Mixing up two channels will lead to a blurred sound.

However, most of the wireless speakers in the market are not true stereo speaker.
-
Bluetooth stereo speaker is master and slave. Slave speaker has time delay and re-transmission (compress and decompress 2 times) distortion which will degrade the sound quality

Seondary re-transmission degraded the sound quality

-
WiFi is point-to-point transmission. Audio data is sent one by one (left channel and then right channel). WiFi stereo speakers can only keep 20uS in channel synchronization. Therefore, they are not playing at the same time.
-
Some manufacturers (KEF) use either a speaker cable or interconnection signal cabelto bridge up right speaker to left speaker (main unit). There is cable distorition in the bridge up cable which causes unbalance in audio since two channels are not identical.

cable distortion create unbalance on 2 channels
-
Sound bar and all-in-one unit put left and right speaker in a single cabinet which cause acoustic crosstalk. The sound will become blur
