Pairing Procedure

1. Pairing procedure need the following ONEaudio hardware to work.

    - Two speakers of same model and dongle

    - Two speakers of same model and console box

    - Subwoofer and dongle

    - Subwoofer and console box

    (Pairing of ONEmedi (speaker model) as CENTER location may need only one speaker to work)

2. If your speakers just finish firmware upgrade, they will enter pairing mode when power up, please go to

    Easy Pairing for fast pair to dongle or console box.

3. Follow the steps below to let the hardware (speaker, subwoofer, dongle, console box) to enter pairing mode.    

    We have a video demo below to show pairing of two speakers and dongle.

4a. If pairing is success, you will hear voice prompt indication from speaker/subwoofer.

4b. If you cannot get this done, please have a look on Pairing Troubleshoot.

Speaker enter pairing mode

1. Power on the speaker. HOLD [+] until you hear "Report status".

2. PRESS [+] until you hear "Pair speaker".

3. PRESS [-]. 

4. PRESS [+], you will hear "I am the MAIN speaker", if you want to pair as MAIN speaker then

    PRESS [-] to confirm.

    Otherwise PRESS [+] for your prefer location (MAIN / REAR / CENTER) and

    PRESS [-] to confirm.

5. Now the speaker will blink with RED/BLUE color and now it is in pairing mode.

6. Repeat 1-5 steps for another speaker, except ONEmedi (speaker model) as CENTER location.

Subwoofer enter pairing mode

1. Power on the subwoofer. HOLD middle key until you hear "Report status".

2. PRESS [+] until you hear "Pair speaker".

3. PRESS [-]. 

4. Now the subwoofer will blink with RED/BLUE color and now it is in pairing mode.

Dongle enter pairing mode

Dongle

1. Plug your dongle to USB power adaptor or USB portable charger.

    *PC or notebook will not work as they will play music to dongle.

2. After 5 seconds the dongle will blink with RED/BLUE color and now it is in pairing mode.

Console box enter pairing mode

First, set the console box to standby mode (means the box is already power up and it is not playing music). Then there are two method (A or B) to enter pairing mode, you can choose one of them.

A1. HOLD [left key] for 4 seconds, it will blink with RED/BLUE color.

A2. RELEASE the key and now it is in pairing mode.

B1. In web control page, press "Standby", go to "Speaker" page and then press "Add speaker":

 

B2. The box will blink with RED/BLUE color and now it is in pairing mode.

If your have upgraded ALL speakers/dongle/console box, the previous pairing information will be deleted and you need to pair them again. Follow the steps below to pair all speakers to the console box in an easy way.

1. Power up console box, it will enter pairing mode within 45 seconds.

2. Power on TWO speakers of same model, they will pair to console box as MAIN speaker.

3. Power on another TWO speakers of same model, they will then pair to console box as REAR speaker.

4. Power on another TWO speakers of same model or one ONEmedi speaker, they/it will then pair to console

    box as CENTER speaker.

5. Let your subwoofer to enter pairing mode, read steps from here, and it will pair to console box.

We record some wrong procedures of pairing:

1. Only one speaker enter pairing mode.

2. Two speakers enter pairing mode, but they are in differenct location. Example one is MAIN speaker

    and another is REAR speaker.
